uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs,
primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Our doctors use
ultrasound to obtain sterile urine samples and to perform visual
screenings of the internal organs. Ultrasound is valuable in
emergency situations to help detect fluid in the lungs or
abdomen, or also to screen for internal masses. For more
comprehensive ultrasound examinations, we have a board certified
veterinary radiologist who visits our clinic on a weekly basis
to perform in depth ultrasound examinations.
