Carrie Ash
Practice Manager
Carrie is originally from a small rural town in
central Illinois. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree
in Animal Science from the University of Illinois, she moved to
Phoenix, AZ and began working as a veterinary technician. In
2002, Carrie obtained her national and Arizona Veterinary
Technician licenses.
In 2003, Carrie decided to continue her career
in the veterinary field by becoming a Practice Manager. Her
efforts were rewarded when she was acknowledged by the AzVMA as
the 2004 Veterinary Team Member of the Year. Carrie relocated to
Houston in August, 2007 and joined the SBAC team in September,
2007.
During her free time, Carrie enjoys spending
time with her husband, Michael, relaxing with their two cats,
Jessep and Gadgit, and exercising with their extremely energetic
and somewhat insane miniature Australian Shepherd named Morris.

Leslie Grubbs
Customer Care Manager
Leslie is originally from Ohio, but has lived in
the Houston area since she was two years old. She has been
surrounded by pets her entire life, so it is not surprising she
has chosen the field of veterinary medicine for her career.
Leslie became a member of the SBAC team in October, 2008 and is
looking forward to assisting our clients and their pets for many
years to come!
She currently spends her time away from SBAC
with her two adorable Cocker Spaniels, Pierre and Muffin, and
her cat Sancho. Leslie enjoys taking her dogs to the dog park
and is also attends the theatre and art exhibits.

Marcela Rodriguez
Marcela was born in Houston, but now lives in
Humble close to her family. She was been a part of the SBAC team
since August, 2004 and enjoys working with everyone here.
During her free time, she loves to spend time with her daughter,
Mallory, as well as going out to eat, dancing, and taking
pictures. She doesn't currently own any pets, but hopes to find
a special four legged friend soon!

Vicki Singley
Vicki is originally from Kewanne, IL and
received a BA in English from the University of Illinois in
1966. She first moved to Houston in 1972, but then moved
overseas for five years beginning in 1975.
Vicki was first introduced to Sunset Blvd as a
client, but she was soon convinced to join the team as a part
time receptionist in 1990. Through the years, she has held many
positions on the SBAC team, including Practice Manager.
During her free time, Vicki enjoys travelling,
skiing, scuba diving, but most of all, she loves spending time
with her grandchildren!!
